Nicole was born in Brooklyn, NY and at the young age of 7 her and her mother moved the Las Vegas. Growing up with her family 3,000 miles away Nicole goes back to New York regularly and actually considers herself a "Half-breed". A healthy mix of West coast chill meets East coast hustle.
She showed interest in makeup artistry and hairstyling in high school. Always the girl doing all her friend's hair and makeup for Dances and school events. She received her licensing at Euphoria institute of Beauty Arts and Sciences right after high school.
Quickly landing an assisting job at Diva Studios Nicole was able to further her beauty school education by assisting daily. She worked under talented hair stylists and educators for Paul Mitchell, TiGi, Redken and Wella. For 5 years she worked behind the chair in the salon, until she came to the realization that coloring hair wasn’t fulfilling her passion. "I was bored of the everyday salon cut and color, and wanted to challenge myself and pursue a different avenue of beauty... make up artistry and event styling.”
This leap took Nicole to a career with MAC cosmetics. There she passed strict certifications and became part of their Impact Team. Mac artists at its highest level (Impact Team) travel to work backstage for shows and events. "I wouldn't be the artist I am today if i didn't work for MAC, there continuing education really shaped my artistry."
Evolving and growing as an artist Nicole has taken positions with Nars Cosmetics as an educator, Sam Villa salon, and many years with the Mgm salon. During her years with the company she continued to freelance and build her own business.
Her work has been seen on Billboards, magazine covers, and nightclub marketing ads. Despite all her success with publications and print work her hearts desire is to make the brides, models, and clients feel beautiful in their own skin.
" The most fulfilling job to me is when I see my client smile at their reflection when I'm finished. Making someone feel beautiful in their own skin I feel is my purpose in life." - Nicole
